Jadyn has been an essential part of our Ashland Doggy Daycare team since March 2022. With a strong foundation in animal care from her time in the ACWHCC Animal Veterinary Science lab, she brings both experience and passion to her role. She is certified in pet CPR and First Aid and has received specialized training in dog body language—skills that make her a knowledgeable and trusted leader in our daycare environment.

What Jadyn finds most rewarding is hearing the kind words from our clients who notice the love, care, and training their dogs receive. Her dedication to each animal’s well-being truly sets her apart.

At home, Jadyn cares for a full house of beloved pets: JuJu, her affectionate 8-year-old pitbull; Hank, an energetic 3-year-old pitbull mix; two cats, Olive and Dexter; and even a painted turtle named Fred. Her lifelong love for animals shines through in every aspect of her work, and we’re so lucky to have her on our leadership team.

Mahala is one of our dedicated supervisors and an essential part of our team. With her strong leadership skills and genuine love for animals, she helps ensure every day at the daycare runs smoothly and safely.

She has completed Pack Pro training, equipping her with advanced knowledge in group dog behavior, safety, and enrichment—making her a go-to resource for both staff and pups alike. Mahala shares her home with her sweet dog, Bo, and her cat, Willow.

Outside of work, Mahala enjoys cozying up with a good book or spending time in the kitchen baking her favorite treats. Her calm presence, experience, and love for animals make her a beloved part of our daycare family!

 Shai has been a valued part of our Ashland Doggy Daycare team since September 2022. Known affectionately as “The Dog Whisperer” by both staff and pups alike, she has a special gift for connecting with dogs—especially in our small dog group, where she truly shines.

With extensive training in dog handling, body language, off-leash play, and group management, Shai ensures a safe, positive, and engaging environment for every dog in her care. Her passion for getting to know each dog’s unique personality is what makes her work so meaningful.

At home, Shai is a proud pet parent to Khole, a Black Mouth Cur mix; Rose, an English Lab mix; and Peppers, a spunky tortoiseshell cat. Outside of work, she enjoys playing softball—a sport she’s loved since she was just four years old.

Her experience, dedication, and calm presence make Shai a beloved member of our team and a trusted caregiver for your furry family members.

 Alia has been a valued part of our Ashland Doggy Daycare team since September 2022. With prior experience working in dog kennels, she brings a strong background in canine care and a deep understanding of dog behavior to her role.

She has completed extensive training in dog body language, handling, group management, and off-leash play, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for every pup she works with. Alia’s favorite part of the job is connecting with each dog and getting to know their unique personality—something she approaches with patience, compassion, and genuine joy.

At home, Alia is a proud pet parent to JJ, a fun-loving boxer, and Tater, a sweet and spunky cat. She's also a devoted mom to her 5-year-old daughter and cherishes time spent with her family.

Alia’s warm personality, experience, and dedication make her an incredible asset to our team and a trusted caregiver for every dog in her care.

 Bri has been a valued member of our Ashland Doggy Daycare team since July 2023. She brings a strong commitment to learning and growth, having completed training in dog handling and behavior. She’s currently expanding her skills in off-leash group play and group management, always striving to provide the best care possible.

Bri’s love for dogs is clear in everything she does—she looks forward to each day spent bonding with our pups and making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy during their time with us.

At home, Bri enjoys life with her husband and their mixed-breed dog, Daisy, a playful and affectionate 3-year-old. She also has a green thumb and finds joy in tending to her collection of houseplants.

Bri’s warmth, dedication, and growing expertise make her a wonderful part of our team and a trusted caregiver to all the dogs in her care.

We welcomed Gracie to our team in June 2025, and we’re thrilled to have her energetic and caring spirit on board! A recent graduate of Ashland High School, she is headed to Tri-C this fall to begin the Veterinary Technician program—pursuing her passion for animal care.

Growing up on a farm full of cows, horses, and chickens, and currently sharing her home with two purebred St. Bernards and three cats, Gracie has been surrounded by animals her whole life. Her love for animals is matched only by her love for spending quality time with friends and family. She’s also a lifelong softball player, having played for 13 years on both school and summer teams.

What she loves most about working here is being surrounded by a team of encouraging and motivating people—and of course, all the dogs!

 Kaelyn joined our team in May 2025, bringing with her a lifelong love of animals and over a decade of hands-on experience through 4-H and FFA. Growing up surrounded by a variety of dog breeds, she has a deep understanding of canine behavior and care that shines through in everything she does.

Currently, she’s furthering her knowledge by taking specialized courses in dog group management, body language, evaluations, and canine health, including first aid and CPR. What she finds most meaningful about her work is building personal relationships with each dog—earning their trust, sharing compassion, and forming genuine connections.

At home, she shares her life with Apollo, a spirited 4-year-old Rottweiler, and three adorable cats: Charlie, Cici, and Cleo. She’s also a dedicated plant lover with over 20 thriving houseplants, and she cherishes spending her free time with her fiancé Isaac and her sisters, Kendal and Klaire.

We’re lucky to have her warmth, dedication, and animal expertise on our team!

Keira joined our team after graduating from Hillsdale High School in 2025. Her love for animals and natural ability to care for them makes her a perfect fit for our daycare family!

When she’s not busy playing with pups, Keira enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, and staying active through sports. At home, she shares her life with two beloved dogs—Blue, a playful Blue Heeler, and Copper, a sweet Dachshund—whom she and her boyfriend adore.

Keira brings a warm heart, a strong work ethic, and a deep passion for animals to everything she does, and we’re so happy to have her on our team!

Deb became an integral part of our team back in October 2007, initially joining us as a dedicated kennel attendant. Over the years, her passion for pet care and grooming shone through, propelling her into the role of our skilled groomer. Specializing in small breeds, Deb brings expertise and a personal touch to every grooming session. At home, she shares her life with adorable Shih Tzus, a testament to her love for these furry companions.

Meet Britani, our newest groomer at Ashland Doggy Daycare since September 2023. Armed with certification from the Paragon School of Pet Grooming, Britani continually enriches her skills through ongoing online education, focusing on dog body language and client communications. Her dedication extends beyond grooming tables—she thrives on forging connections with her clients, understanding their preferences, and fostering comfort for their pets. For Britani, the most fulfilling aspect of her role is witnessing pets experience improved well-being, whether it's liberating them from uncomfortable mats or tending to their paw pads and nails.

Beyond her passion for pet care, she shares her home with an adorable furry family: Pierre, her orange tabby; Eleanor Rigby, the charming calico; and the feisty grey tuxedo, Mama Mia. Recently moving in with her partner, Britani now cares for three more adorable companions: Zander, the Siamese; Willow, a longhaired tabby; and Layla, the playful Border Collie mix.
